Bio/Description

Jennifer L. Jennings is the Director of the Education Research Section and Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs. Her research focuses on how education policies affect inequality in children’s outcomes by race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and gender. She received her Ph.D in Sociology from Columbia University, and her BA from Princeton University, where she majored in the Woodrow Wilson School and received a certificate in the Teacher Preparation Program.
