We hosted a 3-day interdisciplinary institute for 45 New Jersey middle and high school teachers interested in incorporating the study of lead in water to their science classrooms, taught by Princeton scientists John Higgins (Professor, Geosciences), Scott Latham (ERS Associate Research Scholar), Robert Darnell (Visiting Scholar, Lewis-Sigler Institute), and Jennifer Jennings (SPIA/Sociology). Teachers will now have the opportunity to partner with the researchers to collect and analyze their students’ water data.
