Making Decisions for a Better Future, DFM- Peru Funding: US Department of Labor. In collaboration with Innovations for Poverty Action and the Ministry of Education - Peru

This project will evaluate several education policies, with an emphasis on reducing dropout rates and raising the take up of scholarships to go to college. Child labor is a main focus.

  • “Informed School Choice: Beliefs, Search and Information Interventions in Peru” will evaluate and study how parents choose schools and how they react to new information about the quality of the schools. Area: Lima Metropolitan

  • “Social Marketing and the Efficacy of Conditional Cash Transfer Program” will evaluate an informational campaign about the returns of education in interaction with the CCT program Juntos.  Area: Rural Peru. 

  • “The Dynamic Complimentary of Information Interventions and Human Capital Investment” will evaluate an informational campaign about the returns of education and scholarships.  We will also study the major decision of high school students. Area: Urban Peru.
