Learning the value of Education, AVE - RD Funding: USAID. In collaboration with J-PAL and the Ministry of Education

This project will evaluate develop a series of interventions to reduce dropout rates and raise take up of scholarships and higher education among talented but poor youths. 

  • “Earnings Expectations, Perceived Feasibility, and ” will evaluate an informational campaign about the returns of education.  Nationwide.

  • “Perceived Relative Ability and Human Capital Accumulation in Dominican Republic” will evaluate the effects of informative vs motivational messages to top performing students inn Dominican Republic. This is work with the government and has funding from the Youth Initiative at JPAL
