Biased Beliefs and Sophisticated Players: An Empirical Model of a School Choice Mechanism

This project is investigation how families interact with the centralized admissions system. Information that is currently being gathered in the field will help to develop policies to close the gap between families abilities to take advantage of choice policies such as the one in New Haven, CT.

IRS funding the pilot survey conducted in 2015 and my coauthors and I have submitted a NSF grant application in Jan 2016 to fund continued activities in 2016/2017.
